SWS worked with an interior designer on a high-end project in central London and the request was to provide a unique statement feature pull handle to the principal entrance of the Mayfair cocktail bar.
The tip of the horns were tweaked to ensure they were presented safely to the user.
The idea evolved commencing with images of actual animals in their habitat and then focused on their horns. The tip of the horns were tweaked to ensure they were presented safely to the user.
From this the final patterns and drawings for the back to back set with all the necessary fixings were created, and then cast to the actual item.
The base material was brass so there was a choice of how the client wished them to be finished, an aged look was chosen to provide depth and relief and to enhance the final design.
