INTEGRATED INTUMESCENT MATERIAL - Incorporated in the downlight completely seals the downlight and cut-out in the event of a fire. MAINTAINS THE CEILING FIRE BARRIER INTEGRITY - In compliance with the Building Regulations and Fire Safety. MAINTAINS THE CEILING ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES -Â In compliance with the Building Regulations and is resistant to the passage of sound. MAINTAINS THE DWELLINGS LEAKAGE REQUIREMENTS -Â Products include seals to help compliance with Part C & L of the Building Regulations SIMPLE AND VERSATILE INSTALLATION - Installation is no different to a standard downlight. Suitable for installation in ceiling materials up to 35mm thick. IP65 VERSION AVAILABLE - Suitable for use externally and all areas where an IP65 rating is required. Approvals FIRE - Fully tested for 30, 60 and 90 minute fire ceilings.Â Tested to BS476 - Part 20.Â Part 21 : load bearing timber floorings.Â Part 23 : 90 minute protection to load bearing steel beams (suspended ceilings). ACOUSTIC - Tested to BS EN iso 140-3 :1995 & BS EN iso 140-6 : 1998 for airborne and impact sound insulation measurements in accordance with the acoustic perfomance required with downlighters installed in robust detail floors. MOISTURE - Fixed version fitted with special seals to inhibit the flow of air and moisture through the fitting as required by Part C of the building regulations.
