Rising butt hinges are used to aid the self-close of doors and are ideal for use on toilet cubicles.
As the door is opened, the door rises up the spiral knuckle. The weight of the door combined with the bevel on the hinged joint allows the door to close by itself when the door is released.
These hinges are handed to suit the direction of swing of your doors, so this needs to be specified at time of ordering.

Hinges should be lightly greased on installation. N.B. Rising butt hinges are not suitable for use on fire doors.
