A concealed hinge for larger doors with a significantly increased load bearing capacity. 95°Opening/25 mm Overlay
Doors up to 800mm wide and weighing up to 25kgs need just two hinges, doors up to 900mm wide and weighing up to 40kgs need just three hinges.
Requires a 40mm cut hole for the boss.
Features:
- 3 Way Adjsutment function by mounting plate (depth + 1.5mm / -2.5mm, vertical +/- 3.0mm, horizontal (overlay) + 0mm / -4.0mm.
- Snap on Mounting (Mounting plates & cover caps supplied separately).
5 hinges have been tested on a door 750mm wide x 2400mm tall, 30mm thick, weighing 68.5kg. For reference this is equivalent to a door 970mm wide, weighing 53kg.
Please note: We still do not recommend using more than 3 hinges on a door, and the use of 3 hinges on a door up to 40kg is the maximum we will warranty against. However the hinges have passed successfully on the larger door so in reality there should be no problem using them in this manner. But we would strongly advise they are tested on a case by case basis when using on a door of this size.
